This speech has been cited by many Utopian Anarchist thinkers and artists for it's comprehensive and passionate assault on the publishing industry's destruction of the art world by numbers. I sampled it here without any sort of license from the author or her estate. I accept full and personal responsibility for any issues people may take with the contextualization here. Ursula was likely not expecting random artists to sample and edit her words. I hope that she would be able to look past any grievous errors I may have made and recognize my enduring love for her work, her ideas and her legacy. While I abridged her speech to suit the arc of my composition, the entire speech ought to be considered required listening/reading for all persons who identify as artists in the 21st century.
